After decades of breeding and spreading serama across Europe, it was time for a break. The toxicity of serama breeders has made me allergic to childishness. A break was more than welcome.
Our lives took a completely different turn due to family matters and our priority was mainly the care of a granddaughter.
And then we got Covid19. The incompetence of the WHO and lax government intervention got the virus in its grip. And then many countries went into lockdown.
This created a little time for the seramas. Some hens became broody and had chicks in the following weeks.
The hen got 7 chicks and soon they turned into real beauties.
The father of those chicks is our proud rooster #HA and is a descendant of our extreme rooster Saks.
After a week it was obvious that one chick was taking after his father. It's a sweet and joyful cockerel.
The Boy in the picture is son of #HA.
Another sibling is Iserama Peacock. Just watch the eye in her tail feathers.
